About

We build the thing that picks up the phone.

Kallabot started from a boring observation: businesses spend enormous effort generating demand and then drop a large share of it because nobody was free to answer. That gap is unglamorous, expensive, and very fixable.

Why voice, and why now.

For twenty years the answer to "nobody picked up" was a phone tree, an offshore call centre, or a form that promised someone would be in touch. All three are worse than a conversation, and everyone involved knows it.

What changed is that speech recognition, language models, and telephony finally got good enough and cheap enough to hold a real conversation in real time — under a second, over a bad mobile connection, with someone who interrupts. That's a recent development, and it makes a category of problem solvable that previously wasn't.

Kallabot is the operational layer on top of that: the agent that answers, the routing that decides who it reaches, the compliance that keeps it legal, and the ledger that proves what happened. The models are a component. The system around them is the product.

What we believe

Opinions we're willing to lose deals over.

These aren't values-page filler — each one costs us something, which is the only reason they're worth writing down.

01

The call is the product, not the demo.

A voice agent that sounds good in a scripted demo and falls apart on a real caller with an accent, a toddler, and a change of mind is worthless. We optimise for the messy call, because that's the only kind there is.

02

Say what it can't do.

Every voice agent has a boundary. Ours tells the caller when it's reached one and hands off, rather than inventing an answer. A confident wrong answer costs more than an honest handoff.

03

The record matters as much as the call.

Transcript, recording, summary, disposition, and cost on every call. If you can't audit what was said on your behalf, you shouldn't be putting it on your phone line.

04

Compliance isn't a feature tier.

DNC scrubbing, consent capture, and quiet hours run on every call on every plan. Selling those as an upgrade would mean selling a product that's unsafe by default.

05

Your data stays yours.

We don't train on your calls. You can export everything, and you can leave. Lock-in should come from the product being good, not from your data being stuck.

06

Tell people when not to buy.

If your volume is low enough that a person can answer every call, you don't need us yet. Saying so costs one deal and earns the next three.

Want to argue with any of that?

Genuinely — the fastest way to improve a strong opinion is to hear a better one. Or if you just want to know whether this fits your business, ask.

The best argument is a call.

We'd rather you judged this by being on the other end of one than by anything written on this page.

No contracts. Cancel anytime. Data stays yours.
